Marile Borden

Principal & Creative Director

Since 1993 Marile has helped companies–from a local microbrew to a high-end Italian stroller manufacturer to several world-leading B2B technology brands–generate leads, increase sales, and build brand equity. Her career began in the creative department of a small, local agency and then moved to a large, multi-national advertising power-house. In 2001 she opened the doors of Metal Creative—defying the traditional concept of an advertising agency. Marile’s unique brand of creativity coupled with a powerful desire to understand audience and business drivers, has kept clients coming back for results-oriented, creative work.

Marty Smith

Account Supervisor

For the first 11 years of her career, Marty worked at a variety of Chicago- and Boston-based agencies, including Leo Burnett Technology Group, Donovan Group, and The Pohly Company, where she gained valuable experience developing and managing marketing plans, maintaining marketing budgets, driving strategic brand planning initiatives and assuring client satisfaction. However, she found her true calling when she set out as an independent marketing consultant fifteen years ago. Today, she works both with Metal Creative, and independently, on a variety of B2B and B2C accounts developing and executing programs across the marketing spectrum. Her areas of expertise include: Branding, Marketing Strategy Development, Marketing Communications Planning, Marketplace and Competitive Analyses and Social Media Marketing.
